That is really weird. Does your IE has some kind of dev console to look at javascript errors? Tried refreshing cache?

I assume it has something to do with the rich text editor (which was already bugged on IE).

If I knew how to work IE I'd try to look up an error or something but I don't :(

Does it work turning it off? What version are you using? Maybe later on after my shower I can add a quick snippet of JavaScript to disable it on IE lower versions (but I'm not sure of it)

Because it's defaulting to the rich text editor (which is where I assume the problem lies) I am unable to switch to the BBCode editor, which iirc is located in the formatting header in the rich text editor. I can VM because it's only a plaintext message box.
