    Ah, well, breeding I'm pretty solid with. I've got a pair of 5 IV males in every egg group except for... 2, now, so I'm I can comfortably get hold of a 5-6 IV egg of any breedable species I can get hold of. Battles... I've never done seriously, so I suppose I can talk type matchups and have a cursory understanding of valuing moves, but higher level play is largely beyond my understanding.

    higher level play basically starts with predictions which can be very hard to do sometimes,it boils down to people switching to either nullify damage as in having fire blast hit a fire type, or something with the appropriate stat to absorb it welll (sp attacks hitting sp walls like latias . of course this happens with status moves too. I wouldnt start predicting too early in any match as it may backfire on you.
