Trapping moves weren't included because the strategy can be used to the same effect when the opponent only has one Pokemon left.

When the opponent only has one Pokemon left, if you have several more, he has already lost anyways and if he doesn't like it he might as well surrender. Also why would you do that if you've already won

There is no guarantee that one side has more Pokemon than the other. The person stalling could also have one Pokemon left. As for why, I don't know, but people do it. Some people just like to watch the world burn.

But if both parties only have one Pokémon left that means the Truant Durant strategy is no longer available for the troll player and without foe healing moves LeppaRecycle won't do anything. Anyways that's a very specific scenario

Durant can be the 2nd last Pokemon, use Entrainment, faint and then bring in the Leppa Recycle Pokemon as the last mon.

Ultimately, there were so many different ways to force an endless battle, that it wasn't sustainable to ban all of them individually. I understand that the new method is a little more invasive, but I wouldn't have pushed it through if I didn't believe it to be the best solution.

That's still a very specific and unlikely scenario that can be solved in forcing a draw, win or loss by the current online mod though...

Technically only Leaders or Admins can force a draw. Anyway, are there any legitimate competitive uses for leppa + harvest or leppa + recycle that lead you to bringing this up?
