Female. And I personally find Weavile pretty great. I've used him on just about all my teams and really enjoy the type coverage he offers. Seeing mine outspeed and take down a Deoxys-A was pretty sweet.

No prob, brah! Hope you get an awesome Talonflame. So you said you were working on a VoltTurn core team? Those can really whoop if you build 'em right. I have one "main" team pictured in my profile and my sig, and I'm also working on a Sun-based team. So far I have Ninetales w/drought, Flareon, Mega Venusaur, and Espeon w/magic bounce and Morning Sun.

I was looking at sun teams too. I'm trying to build one with no legends so I'm leading with Rotom-W, cored with a choice band scizor, and sharp beak Talonflame to revenge kill. I'm working on the rest but I wanna run Mega-Zard X to set up and Excadrill to Rapid Spin. My last spot is a protean Greninja but I feel like I need more bulk. Thoughts?

How is Flareon? I feel like Mega Zard Y and Chlorophyll Venu are and amazing combo, but Mega Venu is amazing on its own and doesn't fear the pumped Sun. Interesting build

Sounds good overall! I think you should keep the Greninja since it can make better use of non-water attacks that get nerfed in the sun. You'll also have to take care of fire-type opposition early in order to support your Scizor, I think. I've used Megazard X as both a physical attacker and a mixed, both with pretty good results.

Flareon works wonders for me. Choice Scarf with Flare Blitz in the sun makes quick work of most things that don't resist it, especially if I have my Weavile out and I switch Flareon into a would-be supereffective fire move, Flash Fire powers it up further.

Word and the type change makes him a head game to work around (Greninja). Flareon sounds like a real beast then. Now I know what to expect from him. So my only missing mons are excadrill and greninja. Then ill be able to start testing
