And I am seriously considering opening the trade thread you suggested. Is it frowned upon to use clones? I don't mind breeding to get certain pokes, but don't know if I could keep stock up, especially with only one perfect ditto and none which are hp spreads.

I breed them on demand anyway ;p So it's really no problem :)
Some people (me included) don't take clones for regular Pokemon but others don't mind. I've seen some people trade clones for HP spreads and I think that's more generally accepted. I don't think it's a problem as long as you state up front and maybe allow people to request a bred uncloned version.

Ah ok. I was thinking that I'd do clones of 12.5% females and hp fire mons. And have one or two in Stock of the males, but otherwise breed on request.

In any other situation I would keep breeding for you but I have literally seen too many Electrikes in one day...
