The reason I said "especially for a pokemon with such bad defensive typing" is because it has a total of 2 resistances, 5 weaknesses and 0 immunities wheras Ferrothorn has 9 resistances, 2 weaknesses 1 immunity to an attacking type and immunity to being poisoned and badly poisoned. This has a profound effect on Kyurems bulk, and is the reason why Ferrothorn is so good at walling things.

Typing =/= Bulk, bulk is how many hits it can take, and itself has no influence from its typing. Kyurem's Defencive Capability is hindered by its typing, not its bulk.

That wasn't what I was saying. Kyurem is going to be taking a large amount of hits for double damage, which is indirectly hindering its bulk. Also, its lack of resistances is also indirectly hindering its bulk as it isn't going to take half damage from many attacks, and having no immunities means it is that much harder for it to find a time to come in for free as it isn't immune to Toxic, Sludge (character limit)

Wave, Sludge Bomb etc. wheras Ferrothorn is. That was the point I was trying to make. Sorry if I was unclear.

As I said, Kyurem's DEFENCIVE CABILITY is bad, yes, but it's BULK is not. I mentioned in the overview about its bad typing and such.

Bulk = its Stat points
Defencive Typing = Self Explanitory
Defencive Cabability = A combination of both

A pokemon's bulk is its ability to take hits - not its actual stats. Hense "indirectly hindering its bulk".

Also its defensive, not defencive. Not that it matters here, its just good to know XD
