If a pokemon egg has the shiny value of 2582 and you hatch it, then its shiny, thats it. Put it in your sig so you can help others and maybe put a TSV thread on reddit.

If it where that how it worked then I'd have a billion shinys since mine is 0128. Who told you thats how it worked :P

Shiny values for eggs are completely random, it does not depend on when you got the egg.
