It's really is it bad to be a huge fan of pokemon when you're /not 9/? I love Pokemon and playing it competitively is fun, but some of my friend's don't get that and ridicule me for it :/

Yeah I'm a teen lol. I know there's 30 year olds on this site, so that's why I'm not exactly secretive about liking Pokemon

People may give you crap for it now but they'll get over it when you get older. I don't know your friends personally so I'm not going to make a judgment call or anything but if they give you serious trouble for it then you might want to re-evaluate the friendship.

and yeah it's no problem, I am planning to become a therapist so I like helping with stuff like this lol

My best friends all play Pokemon and we actually love battling together, of course I always win lol. My other friends kinda use it against me and I don't really give a shit about it but I don't like if people think of me like that. I know other people get dung for this (One of my best friends moved to Canada and people give him crap about it) and I don't want to be made fun of for liking Pokemon

I was bullied for liking Bionicle in middle school...the only way to really end it is to just stop drawing attention to it...eventually people stop. Kind of a shitty way but what can you do

I don't brag, but I have a sticker of Charizard on my macbook and sometimes when I speak with my friends people eavesdrop....xD I never draw attention tho

lol really, no I don't. I don't really imagine anyone as the stereotypical nerd on this site, especially since nobody I know who plays Pokemon really fits that...

Neither do I, but people of course do think differently.

Basically I don't sit on my laptop 24/7 (1k+ posts because I posted about 500 my first week since I was a newbie that didn't get how it worked here) and I don't have one of those face covering mini-beards (you know what I mean) and I'm in shape, so the opposite is what I get worried people think I may look like, especially looking at my post count

Now that I think of it I kinda look like the guy in my avatar

CC can cross over from other forums Hula but you got to put some good work in those other forums that is CC worthy, we will work on smog articles together, get you back in IS dw =)

lol it's ok, I should get it back before too long, it's just that the ORAS thread was locked so I had nowhere to post, but now it's open.

Yeah from what I here if you lose a badge due to inactivity it may be easier to get again then going for it without having it prior
