Sure. Though not everyone can do it, you need some tools IRL if you want to do that.

You need a flash cart and a homebrew problem named savegame manager; this lets you to transfer your cart save to your computer and vice-versa

After you're done with that then you need PokeGen (I know PokeGen is frowned heavnly around here but since we're not modificing the Pokemon themselves then it's okay; at least in Smogon.)

Then you just put the save back into the game.

I even when to the smogonwifi chat and told them if this was allowed, V4 and DarkRay said it was okay. Provided if I told people before hand and if it's legally allowed in the game.
