No worries, I'm glad the person was able to get a gardevoir in time. I feel guilty that I might be taking trading business from people, since the cost of doing business with me is usually just a bunnelby. ^_^

Yeah but I feel like a lot of the wifi forum is focused more in collecting than actual battling. If you need an unaware wooper (for example) you'd have to trawl through endless dream ball females with crazy egg moves that ask for something crazy in return (or the owner will just say you have nothing of interest to them) and you're stuck. Or you can go and get a stock standard, trained one from you! Some of your battle stock may seem 'inferior' to some of the hardcore traders for not having matching balls or tutor/egg moves or whatever anyway so I'm not sure it's a huge problem

The BS distribution is a fantastic resource and obviously your dream ball collection is great :) I'm really happy for that work you're doing for the battlers

I understand what you meant, lol. The thing that trips people up is there is an element of competitiveness to breeding and trading in the wifi sub-forum. I wrote a post describing it a while ago, and if you don't mind the shameless self-plug, I'll link you to it.

That was a really good post! It covered exactly what I was trying to say to you haha. You've got that 'competitive breeding' section with your dream ball collection, then you have the Battle Spot distribution. The reason I don't think it's stepping on anyone's toes in the trading forum is that it's more a collaborative project, you've got users donating battle ready pokemonn, as well as people willing to train them, and they're distributed as means of getting into battle spot, not as away for everyone to easily boost the trade thread stock.

If you were building your dream ball collection to then give away for free for users to increase their trade stock then that would be stepping on the toes of everyone with similar threads and trying to build it by trading...

That's true, lol. I've been pretty lucky that so many others have been willing to help support this distribution with me. I'm also really happy I've been able to help support other battlers. I've really learned a lot since I started doing this, and that's really helped me grow as a battler as well.
