Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
I have a save where I should be able to generate 6IV Pokemon (or 5IV for Special Attackers) with random SVs. The main thing I'm looking for is female Ghosts with shiny-matching Pokeballs.
As many of the following as possible on those would also be helpful: four egg moves, usable nature, and 31s in Defense and Special Attack (or just Defense if there aren't really Sp. Atk options for the Pokemon).
If that sounds like something you'd be willing or able to help with, let me know! I'll of course give you pick on anything that gets hatched and credit you on anything you help with.
Well, I'm working on Spiritomb right now, just because I like Spiritomb. I've considered Pumpkaboo, Sableye, and Gengar for semi-obvious reasons. (With Gengar, I'd just feed rare candies to a Haunter and trade that to people.) Anything you think you can contribute would be great, however; I'm not choosey about tiers.
That sounds doable. Any specific Pokémon in mind/what you want me to start with? Pumpkaboo would be good for the Halloween theme. Also keep in mind that there'll be a Shiny Gengar event in October, so that might not be quite as popular as it would usually be.
And yes, I can check SVs. PowerSave is a help here; I've used it to both create backups of saves where I'm guaranteed a usable baby (see: Time Machine Breeding Method) and can use a program called KeySav to check SVs on any egg in a backed-up save.
Sure, if you can work on Pumpkaboo, that would be great! I've been referring to the Smogon-recommended sets for egg move/nature ideas. I'll leave what constitutes a "matching" Pokeball to your discretion, and any nickname suggestions in general are welcome. I'll for sure shoot for a preferred nickname on things you contribute.
OK. Gonna go for Jolly Pumpkaboo-S in a Heal Ball and Impish Pumpkaboo-XL in a Dusk Ball (both Frisk).
I'm terrible at nicknames in general, but if I think of something I'll say it.
I have both Pumpkaboo bred as I stated earlier. They both have perfect Def and SAtk (their natures are both -SAtk, but w/e) and Frisk. Pumpkaboo only gets three egg moves (Destiny Bond, Disable, Bestow), so you might want to teach the final product a TM like Will-O-Wisp or level it up a bit to teach it Trick-or-Treat. Just tell me when you're ready to trade!
As for what I could do next... I was thinking of a Unova Pokémon if you want to spread them out between generations. Unova has a bunch of interesting Ghost-types. Do you think Timer Ball Chandelure would work for you? The three red areas on the Timer Ball mirror Chandelure's fire nicely.
