I wanted to use Infernape as my SR user. Is that a good choice or is ther a better one?

Well, generally, a stealth rock user should be bulky, so it can set up the rocks...but if you give infernape a focus sash, it can get the rocks up.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but Jolly wouldn't be a good choice for it so I am going to be looking at more pokemon

I would say Tyranitar but it seems to obvious

Well, just because a pokemon sets up rocks, it doesn't mean it's useless after the fact...infernape's a pretty strong mixed attacker, so you could use it offensively after you set up rocks.

Yeah, I'm just scared it will sometimes not be useful when I need it to be. So I'm am looking at my choices now

Infernape, Metagross, Heatran, and Gliscor

I actually think infernape looks like your strongest option. Both gliscor and heatran suffer from an identical 4x weakness as another team member (gliscor--garchomp; heatran--magnezone). Although metagross suffers from numerous shared weaknesses, it is a strong pokemon in general. At any rate, I'm breeding your eevee right now.
