I feel like it's mostly coinidence or just design bias from Nintendo's end. I mean how would a space goddess who created an entire universe be Peach's child. Also I'm pretty sure Super Mario 3D World is canon to the Mario story or wahtever and both Peach and Rosalina appear there.

Definitely an interesting theory tho :o
