sorry, im a bit new to smogon, but not ps, so can you tell me how to pm?

click on a user's name and there will be a few tabs. click "start a conversation" to send a private message.

it won't let me type anything in the discussion box

that is very strange, send a screenshot of what's happening?

not sure if a screenshot is very accurate, but the text box under the discussion title will not allow me to type anything, and when i try to start the discussion, it tells me that i need to input a valid message

make sure there's a title and an intended recipient before you write in the main message
