I don't think Mega Sableye will be dropped any time soon because it'll be put up continuously and like Sirskit I am also tired of it Mega Sableye coming on and off the forums. A broken Pokemon is when it's too good relative to the rest of the metagame. When it comes to a broken Pokemon, it requires very high and anticipating stats for the broken Pokemon, a team that faces off another team with that Pokemon leaving the other team at an enormous disadvantage, and when a team needs a gimmicky Pokemon as a check or counter to deal with threat at hand.

I see Mega Sableye as an annoying stalling Pokemon that's only able to deal a lot of damage once its checks and counters are removed from the opposing team when using Dark.

Yes, but the reason I believe he is broken is because although he doesn't all-out break one of the rules for broken Pokemon, he is very close to breaking almost all of them. He has amazing defenses and, when he's set up, he's pretty much unkillable with his Recover spam unless you have a roar-er or a Dragon Tail user (gimmicky). He's also part of a core that is hard to kill for a lot of teams (Umbreon can Heal Bell him if you manage to status him) He creates a no-win situation for a lot of under used types (Electric has no good counter except Mega Fabio sort of), especially with team support. I especially think he's broken when you consider that normal Sableye is decent enough with Prankster and a wide support pool. Maybe he shouldn't be banned, but a suspect is definitely needed.
