genesect is indeed not a reliable way of handling ekiller, yet is borderline adequate. ekiller is significantly worse in that meta, mainly due to sableye's ubiquity. hyper offensive hazard stack is also worse because of sab, and because the meta dynamic in general changed. cm arceus formes that beat ho-oh (eleceus, waterceus) are more common choices, I'd say sd arc ghost is also better. it's not just sableye; full health ho-ohs and groudon are more common. there isn't anything that benefits it really, except maybe ghosteus and gira-o being less common, though both are still good! it is still a good mon that's not the thing, it's just that it's much rarer. as such, having genesect to check ekiller, in the case of that team where it wasn't filled with priority weaks, I stand by my point yeh
