For the record, I do think we need to have a discussion about the finals of this at some point, if "changing the core" was a deciding factor.

It was considered and prevented us from immediately picking a winner, but we considered changing the original core more of a basic rule/guideline to follow. It was the 1st change mentioned on the rate, and I think it would've been better had it been saved for last, because I'm fine with changing the original core IF it is truly the only option, which is really rare. On a side note, we (the hosts) should have the analysis up soon, and we're also planning on adding a "what we were looking for" list of some sort.
