This was taking up too much time, so you decided to drop it to deal with more important IRL things. But what happens when all that gets cleared up, when you realize you have a lot of time on your hands again? You're going to do SOMETHING with it. And you won't try something new; you'll come back to what you're used to, what you're comfortable with, where you know you have friends to welcome you back.

And you don't simply quit something because you're too busy for it. You quit something because it died, or because you find out you genuinely dislike it, for some reason or another.

So you may not know how long you'll be gone. Could be a month, could be three or five years. But unless Smogon dies while you're on hiatus, you WILL find your way back on here.
