LOL, I found that so hilarious at the time, but I realised after the editing that it wasn't even that terrible of a play. Shit bus strikes again

Haha your fine my dude. Belly drum was defs the worst play, as legit any other.combination of plays could have won him the game. The only plays being; He stays in and play roughs, as if you stayed in with Excadrill he won with kyurem or if you went azu he got play rough + aqua jet off (potential 2 which means roles didn't matter), which assuming he didn't get the buttom of the barely roles, he could have locked himself into ice beam (or ep if he had it) and won the game. He could have double play roughed as well, since the role was heavily in his favour to live from full or even aqua jetted first into play rough assuming the roles you got didn't fall into the 30% chance to ohko. I guess he could have also made the spicy play of going kyurem, but then he would have had to delt with the 50/50, which is much more complicated then just Play rough Into aqua jet. Either way, he found the one way to lose the game and it your reaction was priceless LOL

I don't think play rough + aqua jet kills Azumarill, so his line of thought was probably "I need to outspeed his Azumarill to win, so I may as well go for BD and hope I'm faster". His Azu also gets OHKO'd by banded play rough after rocks if I even had rocks up

It doesn't kill azumarill, but it should put it in range of ice beam or ep from kyurem assuming no crapy role. You didn't have rocks up either iirc, so he could have jetted twice securing the kill with ice beam, assuming you didn't get a high role or crit with play rough. Like even If his plan to win was to outspeed, wouldn't have been better to just play rough on the switch and then go for the speed tie (which if he lost, came down to a role in his favour)?
