Yeah, Zapdos is more viable on stall than Weavile lol. Just cuz ABR used that one team to CT doesn't mean Weavile stall is good. Also there's Mega Lati, and Torn doesn't 2HKO mixed defense Clef, doesn't have a great chance to beat Sab either

mega lati requires a mega slot, stall necessitates a pursuit trapper so weavile is just as viable as ttar on stall if not moreso, and mixed defense clef is a shaky answer since most stall runs unaware and unaware is really easy to wear down into KO range.

the reason why taking up a mega slot sucks is cause mega bro, mega sab, and mega venu are so good on stall nowadays that your team becomes significantly worse when you use up a slot on mega lati since those passive teams really appreciate what each of those mons bring to the table (sab deterring hazards and status, slowbro being a reliable and bulky wincon, venu being a really good check to azu and frens without being slow as shit by among and it can actually take on elecs like thundy with hp fire/hp ice.

Ttar is certainly more viable than Weavile as a trapper on stall, Torn isn't even the most reliable stall killer. In theory its nearly unstoppable but in practice you get paralyzed or Knocked Off or something whenever you miss a Hurricane. It's a big threat but your statement is still ludicrous
