Ya my school's language courses are garbage. We have literally two languages (french and spanish; used to offer portugese for GCSE but that stopped when I was in year 8) and I never really learned anything from them (I spent 3 years learning Spanish and all I can remember is the alphabet, how to count "¡Hola! !Me llama Martin!" lol). So I'm learning outside of school with evening classes on Mondays, the Rosetta Stone app and with a book called "Reading and writing Japanese scrips." Its hard but then again so is everything so *shrugs* English people suck at learning languages lol

may I ask, why Japanese? Will you live in Japan or something? ;0

Personal interest mostly. I don't like latin-/arabic-based languages much as I do oriental (all if them are really interesting to learn about) and of the oriental countries Japan is the one I have the most interest in. I do have ambitions to live and work abroad in the future though, so I wouldn't be surprised if at some point I do end up living and having a family there.

Ohhhh! That's really cool =) By the way, I may not be drawing hands for a whole month xD My interest is waning in drawing JUST hands you know? I think we should spice it up a little and maybe draw like the nose for 2 days, and then the eyes, etc and then cycle back to the hand. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome! ;D
