I'm kinda surprised. Disney don't normally go for something so overutilised. Hopefully they'll give it something over its competition like Kensuke's Kingdom (Michael Morpurgo) did.
'Twas a good book despite being written by a children's author. He does that well (see: Adolphus Tips, although that is basically his Grandma's diary in story form)

Nah it's just that there are a million "people from completely different backgrounds go on an adventure" stories that if they can't set it alart properly from the competition it risks being kinda uninspiring is all. I've not seen the trailer so I can't really say if it looks like it'll set itself apart tho xD
