actually no, I'm doing the old way smogon did double elims. Just one set. The fact he played 2x the games and thru Losers Bracket is his "punishment" for the first loss.

I wanted to do double bracket but its 5 teams submitted, idk if that'd be as enjoyable.

and I'd have to reset team lock between sets ofc which is another meh, set 2 could be a close repeat.

fwiw I never liked the form of double elim I'm using but I've seen it on other smogon tours and it happens to fit nicely here.

dang dude, you never specified that the tournament would be different than the usual double elimination format
