Jesus christ why have I seen people trying to compare move+condition to banning pokemon+ability and pokemon+move. The comparison's utterly banal 'cause one entails restricting a single pokemon whereas the other entails restricting every pokemon. Also the arguments about it not being right because it "goes against the move's intended purpose" are even more stupid 'cause that should /not/ be relevant to how we handle tiering (that and you still can use it for its intended purpose if you can still pass Atk/Def/SpA/SpD)

Honestly I have no clue why this is still going, banning speed passing in ou is like trying to ban Politoed because they don't want to prepare for it. People are desperate to eliminate it as a whole with no actual proof its broken so this isn't even the proper time to really being this up. Even so, would anyone really be mad if we had a BP + Speed removed? It's not like we ever had to suspect Baton Pass because of a broken Cosmic Power pass or something like that either so why take down the move as a whole when there are other properties that people fail to acknowledge when literally this while argument started from BP + Speed.
