yeah it's pretty great. not sure about the whole story though, so your bus was just late?

Basically my planned schedule involved taking a few buses but I underestimated wait times and the important one was late. In hindsight there were totally more efficient ways to go about this but if a meme comes out of this I can't complain too much.

I actually have a permit now, but having a car in Berkeley seems nightmarish so I prob wouldn't have had a car with me anyway.

nice, when did you get your permit? tbh I've had mine over a year and still haven't gotten behind a wheel yet lol

I got mine during the summer, was actually pretty nice to finally get it. I've actually gone for a drive to the next town over and it wasn't so bad, but I always figured the hardest part would be actually being motivated to get behind the wheel.

Do you need your parent in the car with you

Yeah, not allowed to drive solo just yet.

do people give you a hard time about not driving. I guess it's different in California

Nah not really, though my parents did start to bug me about it for while.
