You don't need to offer it for trade, just place your cursor over it for a few seconds and move to the next one
Also, the TEA method requires you to hover your cursor over the eggs that you want checked (for around 3 seconds each), and I will check them in the order that you show them to me. This means that it is important that you keep track of the order that you show the eggs to me (I recommend that you start on 1-6, then touch the 7th egg and do 7-12 in that order etc etc but it's really up to you).
