I mean, Gigalith can't learn Roar and Toucannon can't learn Facade, so Pokemon strangely not getting moves isn't super new.

i understand gigalith not learning roar, it's not a (near) exclusive TM and it would be stranger if it was a lion or something but toucannon isn't the only one not learning facade, ironically magearna doesn't learn that too, i don't get gf at times :s also Kaydan is a nice user.

Yeah, GF is pretty strange at times. I've kind of given up trying to figure out why they try to do certain things LOL

because they are unique pokemon with small movepools, they either don't learn toxic because they are a magikarp or a caterpie or the pokemon has a specific movepool, magearna isn't one of those so

It's nothing new really. Ferrothorn doesn't have access to Spiky Shield and Kyurem B doesn't get Ice Punch. GameFreak is all about not making logical decisions when regarding movepools

ferro was created before spiky shield being made since chesnaught was the first mon to get it and i understand why kyurem-b doesn't have ice punch, regular kyurem would have to have ice punch first and it doesn't seem the poke that uses that

ye I agree with Ice Punch Kube but I don't agree with Spiky Shield Thorn. I mean, Cacturne and Maractus learn Spiky Shield iirc.
