The Yu-Gi-Oh dub was pretty solid tbh, in terms of actors. The problem came from the script and animation changes. some of it was for censorship and some of it was for no reason.

The animation is the biggest reason English dubs tend to be sub par imo. It was animated to accommodate being in Japanese which is really different from English. Some games have the same problem too.

I'd say maybe for some. the voices never felt out of place in Yu-Gi-Oh and I feel there are a lot of dubs that work

Some do accommodate for the language difference but its really noticeable for the ones they dont fix up.

yu-gi-oh dubs were actually decent, like even now i don't mind them and subs>>>>>>dubs imo
