It would probably need a new balancing in Gen 8, though. The Pokemon would most likely fall to RU level, if the current trend continues. x_X

I can kinda understand why they chose to leave out fossils on a vulcanic island region. But don't they dare pull that off twice in a row! D:

They better not. I want a Rock/Poison fossil or a Rock/Fighting one. It would be really neat to see more Rock-type combos that are uncommon :)

Fossils hold so much potential because they are part of the very exclusive group of Pokemon that can justify high speed and Rock typing at the same time (and no, Lycanroc does not count).

Lycanroc is bad anyways. Reg sucks and Midnight should've been Rock/Dark so it at least had a niche over its currently better (although still bad) counterpart. :x

Give them Earthquake and they'll be at least half-way decent. Can't get too far with Fire Fang alone...
