It solves the problem of having a waifu (or too many of them). It does not solve the problem of Lillie being everyone's waifu.

If we consider that every game cart is an alternate reality, then there is an infinity of Lillies, and she can be everyone's waifu.
That, or she embodies all-encompassing love.
