The worst line is "Your mom is so shallow, she probably thinks this quip is about her" 1. because it's so obviously aping the famous line from the song "You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you" and when you make a reference to something without citing it, it is always embarrassing. And 2: it makes no sense within this context. How does being shallow make you believe that something is about you?
