In Dutch it's an aardappel, which also means earth apple literally translated

ahhhh it makes no sense hahaha. just call it potato or make up a word or something and that doesnt have to do anything with apples ;-;

but its an apple from the earth c:

we call an orange a sinaasappel

but we don't call a pineapple an apple
