this is working correctly for other things, like if you switch and die to spikes and i use substitute i don't get a sub but in the case of switching it's not working properly

is it being done by speed now? i guess that's the only acceptable solution other than having the host be determined randomly at the start of the game

also entirely unrelated but zarel didn't respond to my vm so i'll tell you too. healing wish in dpp isn't working at all, it just kills the mon that uses it and doesn't heal anything
