I think you might have missed the first bullet point of the giveaway rules :P It says "What I am giving away is a cloned copy of these Pokémon (cloned by me)."

But didn't you say that we can use them in actual events because they're legitimate?

Yes, cloned Pokémon are exact copies of the original. If the original is legitimate, the clone is exactly the same, so they can be used in events.

I thought cloned Pokemon couldn't participate?

I may be wrong though
