I'm against complex bans on principle. I think an argument could be made for banning just Detect (since Protect does the exact same thing but without the possibility of an evasion boost), but overall I don't think Z-Detect is too powerful. The only Prankster users are Murkrow, Sableye, and Riolu - none of these poses a bigger threat than Z-Detect Dragonite for example.
