I'm Central time. I'm available all this workweek but at an earlier time than you specified. I'm usually online from 8 am to 5 pm -ish each day (6 to 3 your time) and am not available on the weekends.

I am working during the week, so I cannot play during your hours. Is that a way to schedule an exception? Like it’s 7:43 pm my time and I just got home.

I might be able to squeeze in a game around the same time tonight but I'm usually not active other than a quick check in on smogon. But I can try to be available for a battle tonight and we might have to spread them out over a couple days

Also, are we required to maintain the same team per battle, in a best of 3? Or can we switch?

I mean I told you that I only might be able to battle you at that time. I am never usually able to get on PS at that time so I was attempting to make something work. It seems our hours of availability just don't match up.

You said “might” regarding Tuesday, not Wednesday. You told me to let you know about my availability Wednesday...

Wednesday you had been on about 45 minutes before I checked in, and didn’t bother to update me saying “can’t do it tonight” After I asked you about Wednesday on Tuesday...

With no reply I was left to assume there was no reason to say it wouldn’t work

Now that I clarified that up, based on your last comment on Tuesday... I agree on our schedules not syncing and messaged The Immortal about it and he said we have to just try and make it work.

I messaged him again to ask about the actual R1 deadline. I want to be fair to both of us.

Sorry for not being clear, but my availability was the same for each day of the week. I didn't say I couldn't do it since I normally don't get on at those times anyway. We might just have to coin flip it since neither of us can do much about it. Unless you could play right now?

Let’s say that if the weekend is absolutely impossible, I agree to your idea to flip a coin. I can flip it 3 times where, like a battle 2/3 coin flips win. You can post your idea of 3 coin flip results. I will flip the coin to see if they are not your match or if they are.

Sorry, the weekends just do not work for me. Also, the tournament host normally handles the coin flips. I will suggest a best of three coin flip, though.

My lunch break just ended, as we had a Chinese New Year, and so I couldn’t play. I assume the coin flip is the best option. Thanks for your help.
