which means that the people who made finals for those cups should not have received any points for that. But the spreadsheet gave them 10 points for making finals / 15 points for winning the finals for each cup, which should not have been awarded to them

This was very different than the attached note last year to all the cups, which said this:
/!\ Only winners and runners up of cups, as well as those in the playoffs phase at the end of the 5 separate Cups (ORAS, BW, DPP, ADV, and GSC) will grant UU Tournament Circuit points (on a basis that will be adapted to the number of entries).

hi pif and thank you!! this was just an oversight on our end, very sorry about that. cup winners and runners-up were actually supposed to receive points, we mistakenly used incorrect info when creating the ops of each cup. ty for pointing it out, each cup winner and runner-up will retain their points though!!
