Shooting a man before throwing him out of a plane is a pathway to many interrogation techniques some hired guns consider to be unnatural. He became so in charge… the only thing he was afraid of was crashing his plane, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he told Bane the flight plane he just filed with the agency, then the Big Guy killed him on his plane.
