Hey, some advices I can give you are: use a you know well or if you don't have one try to really understand how the team works in the tier before playing; if you lose in low ladder, create a new alt and try to be like 10-0 cause low ladd is where you can get easy wins but it's also where winning or losing will impact the most your GXE;

try to use your timer, this is something most players on the ladd won't do, but if you take some time to think before clicking you may avoid chokes and stupid mistakes that make you lose a game; in some rather dead ladder playing in dead hours to find bad players can help;

don't forfeit a game when you have not 100% lose and don't play with a bad connection (I can ensure you that losing a suspect game because of your wi-fi is frustrating). Also, to complete what mammalu said, haxxing people helps a lot but the more important is to not get haxxed (and it's not easy unfort).
