hey what's up? been a while. I feel like we always reconnect right when new games are about to drop haha.


I do plan to, but I'm not sure if I want Violet or Scarlet yet.

Decided to get my master's degree in teaching, so I've been working on that. Yeah, that's usually when I drop in on Smogon haha, figured I'd say hi! Nice, I went with Scarlet because sun teams are fun and the box legendary and paradox pokemon have that theme based on abilities, Violet legendary is electric terrain. Also, I kind of the "past" theme more than the "future" theme but both look cool.

i am leaning more to scarlet too because the professor is cooler and it has tyranitar. but on the other hand violet has that new metal tyranitar which looks cool to me too...

Oh nice! Yeah, seems like lots of people are going with Scarlet. Kinda cool how one version has the regular form and the other has the new form. New T Tar seems kinda cool though. Rock and electric type with the ability that boosts your highest stat in electric terrain

Well, not yet but I'm on my way. I'm the middle of a career change from construction management. I start my student teaching in January and graduate in June. Do you like IT?

BABA the good old days haha, I recognized your name. Yeah, I think I will like it! Nope, not steel, still looks cool though. It's gonna be like gen 5 except weather and/or terrain every battle instead of just weather

Okay haha. I like the game so far, feels pretty open word and big. The switch sometimes struggles to keep up though. Also, competitively, some of the new stuff is crazy strong

I got Scarlet because I found out most of the paradox mons are not until the endgame. so at least i can use tyranitar in the main game !
