I rarely play 1 but I'm pretty good at 2, I've beaten the entirety of it with only power tiles (using tile turnip). I just wish everything wasn't p2w tho, I wanna use gold bloom and escape root so bad :((((((

I also find this funny because I was actively playing pvz as I typed that, today's pinata party is really good with sun bean + magnifying grass

gold bloom is not that useful, actually, at least in my oppinion, which should probobly be taken with a grain of salt, as i have not used it. while not as plentiful as in pvz1 (imitator sunflower + stall lets you have a row of melon pults before the first wave), it is still plentiful if you know how to use sun producers.

most sun producers make their sun back after producing sun once, and as such, they are very expendable. keep placing them in the front wherever there is space, and not only will you have an army of meatshields, but you will also have plenty of sun producers as well.

not based take, gold bloom + imitator allows you to basically skip the early game, you can get 1.5 WINTER MELONS for completely free at the beginning of the game, which allows you to streamline your main sun production process (esp using primal sun when compared to sun shroom/moonflower) and it's not even bad later-game with good stalling like from chard/stallia/winter melon (which is extremely stupid btw)

also sunflower hater formation is cringe, all it accomplishes is your sun production getting eaten and then you've no sun for using offensive plants, so you can't protect those lanes anyway, and it's all for like 5 extra seconds of chew time for your offense plants? not worth it imo

anyways whats your favorite plant of each type (insta, sun producer, offensive, gimmick, etc.)???

insta:chomper. Sun producer:sun shroom. offensive:homing thistle. gimmick:garlic. also, sunflower hater is used by pros, and it is much more expensive to replace a winter melon than a sunflower. sunflowers are expendable, especially if you spam them.
