Didn’t really get a chance to scout, but from the set, it was cool to play teams that had different compositions than most. The hail was dope and celebi fitting onto those sands gives great role compression

Really hope you keep playing and we get to fight again + you get to play some of the other top players. Think you can easily hold your own

My play there was to pivot Rotom anyway, was safe. Calced regular blizzard and I was payapa for Psyshock so I thought I had it, but was greedy

also glad you like the celebi sand-- it started out as one of your teams actually (sciz over cele) and then we ended up changing all the sets until we found something that worked

and yeah-- i'll still be around (ive only been back a couple months), although i need a break from prepping teams every week like this lol. thanks for the kind words!

yeah i was modest specs-- i thought it was greedy until i checked the rolls (cleanly ohkoing ferro is amazing). and yeah i was expecting the rotom switch (which is why i didnt blizzard on the keldeo switchout)-- didnt realize you thought you lived until i remembered my item lmao

modest specs is legit if you have multiple things faster than keld/terrak (or like hard checks)

and yea, prepping for multiple is intense. I’ve just been mixing and matching a lot since I’ve been busy with my move, will finally have time in future rounds. Kinda got lucky with my g3 matchup in our set here, almost loaded a stall but was worried to get CT’d

Glad you’re back anyway, think you can make big noise with the level you have. And it’s rly cool seeing so many good new/coming back BW players in 2024 when I first found it in like 2011, some things are timeless

thanks-- still trying to get better overall (me playing stall is a total disaster rn). any idea what i did wrong g1 and g3? the matchups were not in my favor, but the games should have been closer than they actually were

g1 was hard imo, you had to probably make more aggro plays early -- the landot sr on volt was good, but avoiding the celebi loop without going tar. drill on 19 was rough, maybe could've baited surf -> draco, but you needed tar at like full for zam after, so not like you had much to do

g3 i did not like celebi lead. your team was rly pressed by rotom-w i get it, but chomp forcing up rocks punishes tran and rotom-w nicely. i also would've considered doubling rather than leaf storming on 10 and 15 (altough 15 was more nuanced since i kept ferro in prior). idt you messed up so much as just it got unlucky for you and then snowballed, not your fault too much

dunno if it's misplays tho not too much overall at least, honestly just trying to break out of pressure vortex if you will -- hard to come from behind in tmpo games vs certain players if they don't misplay and vice versa like for me g2

yeah thats fair g1-- i did have toxic on keld and prob should have used it vs latios, and sub drill vs rotom was possible. volturn still OP 14 years later
