    Your thing in the PL ZA thread has a major flaw: According to Game Freak themselves, the BDSP PLA fiscal year was their most profitable year ever. And yes, the BDSP sales numbers were a big part of it

    Even if I haven't figured out the right reason, someone with decision-making power combed through the numbers and reception, did the cost-benefit analysis and decided repeating the BDSP/PLA duo in the same way was not worth it. Who knows, maybe they're even objectively incompetent for doing so and this is a case of crybabies on twitter spooking the suits way too hard. Either way, if it means no faithfulslop...

    Hey dramps, I'm watching dragon ball right now.

    I've been doing that since january, figured I'd start out at the Z saga. Don't worry I'll get to watching the original dragon ball soon. I'm on episode 28. All I have to say is
    Damn, all of gokus friends got swept, especially yamcha. He got cleaned without Vegeta or Nappa lifting a finger. Something tells me I not going to see gokus friends in the later arcs...

    Android arc was definitely carried hard by the anime adding necessary scenes from an arc that was far too short. You can see the story they were trying to tell, and the story had glimpses of strong themes i.e. negative vs positive fathers but it was all incredibly rushed because we didn't get enough time with Trunks. The anime fleshed out the themes and turned it into one of the best parts in the entire franchise.

    I disagree regarding Vegeta's sadness over Trunks death and that Trunks held Vegeta back, but I can understand the complaints. He was much nicer to Kid Trunks compared to when he was with Future Trunks, and I think Future Trunks understanding his father and learning that he will need the strength to protect his own future is one of the highlights of the arc. That being said I understand your view.
