I'm not going to be able to do that since you're asking to play outside my range. If you can tell me you'll be on for sure during a window I can probably make it work. Otherwise it'll be a coin flip.

i cannot do ur normal available times due to it being my work hours. i will be available on m/t/w/th/fri from 6:30 pm and onwards. choose an exact time on one of those days and ill be there.

If you can give me a 3hr range that you will be on between 6:30 and 10 pm gmt-5, I can probably make that work.

if you expect me to sit around for 3 hrs and wait for you to get on during that time range, while you are unable to put aside 30 mins at night to play a match then you are completely insane. respect my time and ill respect yours. like i said previously you can choose an exact time on one of those days with at least a 12 hr notice. also i meant my timezone not urs, which is -7.

given that this is bwlc and games can take 15-30 minutes each and that there is a 30 min wiggle room for activity, asking for a 3 hour availability is at worst cautious and at best prudent. I think refusing to commit to a range of time during your range is unreasonable and, frankly, suggests you are not actually available in the given times in order to give your self more of an argument for activity. You may not be bluffing, but it appears that way, as I am calling your bluff and your reply is to not even try to give a range. If you won't offer me any range, I will offer you a range for 3 hours thursday 8:30 am to 11:30 am or 2pm-5pm, or friday noon-3 pm (all -5) even if just to show what actual availability looks like. I will be available any of those times. HSOWA sorry to bug you, but can you weigh in here? I don't think this is going anywhere.

Only one of us is actually trying to make this work. If I'm the one accommodating, I'm unable to commit if I don't have a generous range. Even 2 hours is probably fine. If I'm not being met half way then I would expect an activity ruling in my favour.

I'm giving you a range of nearly 6 hours (6:30 pm to 12 am gmt-7 from wed-fri), so all you have to do is pick a time you can reasonably make and the scheduling is complete. Usually, if you're 15 minutes later than the time you agree to, it will be activity per the rules of smogon scheduling. I'm even willing to put up with a 30-minute range instead because scheduling seems difficult on your end, so all you need to do is pick a time and try to show up within 30 minutes. You "trying to make this work" is completely disregarding my availability over and over and missing every point.

I am not free during your range and 1/3rd of which is while I'm asleep. As I have said, I occasionally have an hour here and there free, I just don't know when until it happens. Just to emphasize the absurdity, I am giving you a larger range of availability and offered you 3 hour windows, yet you can't pick a time during my availability. If you think my scheduling is difficult then why can't you pick a time within 2 extra hours per day of availability and 3 hour windows instead of 30 minutes. It's obvious you don't want this game played, so it won't get played unless there is host intervention.

First, let’s not forget that I gave you my availability all weekdays night last week + weekend flexibility and this weekdays nights. You saying this is absurd is ridiculous as I actually gave you a larger availability the past 2 weeks. Second, I do not have the luxury to play games at work like you do. I may say something absurd now, I think a majority of people cannot play at work hours. It’s crazy I know. Third, what you are asking is unreasonable as it does not respect your opponent’s time and does not follow smogon’s scheduling guidelines. Lastly, to be frank maybe you are the one that doesn’t want to get this game played as you cannot put aside time outside of your workhours. After briefly looking at your scheduling history on your wall, you clearly show zero flexibility and respect that others operate outside of your very specific, unfair time ranges. HSOWA he has shown a clear history of this and it’s unacceptable. I want this game done, but I’m asked to drop everything for a player who is very obviously unwilling to compromise.
