    I don't really disagree with what you said. Are tiering philosophies are very different and I can respect that. Posting here to not clog the thread.

    if you want mons to appear visually in the builder in tiers they have enough usage in while not ripping important mons from others the shnowshner post is a good idea, it allowes tiers like OU and Ubers to get their viable mons showing up without leading to ban waves and 2+ year old defensive mons leaving out of the blue, i don't really agree with the philosophy that having overlap in what tiers a mon is legal and viable in ruins the system because that doesn't apply to old gens with frozen shifts (things like clefable being good in 2 or 3 different tiers) nor to mons that are simply high in the vr but not in usages on ladder (wo chien being A- in NU and B+ in RU on the VR for example) and also doesn't really matter that much in the grand scheme of things nor means the mons will be used the same (example of gweez filling a completely different niche in RU and OU by using a different ability) so overall it feels like a positive improvement, at the cost of having some rare tiers with bigger overlap due to bans removing a mon's competition like both UU and RU running zapdos galar, the tiers would still be wildly different enough in how they approach the mons in common to feel just as different as usual

    Sounds like a good idea for both sides. Tiering will always be messy no matter what you do and this pretty much solves my problems with it (as a OU/Uber player).
