    I just came up with something really nasty for trrademarked. Behold my idea:

    Get a mon to pass aurora veil (therefore, snow + veil), into CLOYSTER. You have it with trademark "iron defense". Now stupid calcs:

    252+ Atk Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Crunch vs. +2 248 HP / 252+ Def Cloyster with an ally's Aurora Veil: 23-27 (7.5 - 8.9%) -- possibly the worst move ever

    +6 252+ Atk Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Crunch vs. +2 248 HP / 252+ Def Cloyster with an ally's Aurora Veil: 92-108 (30.3 - 35.6%) -- 37.5% chance to 3HKO

    And to bigger extremes:

    +6 252+ Atk Choice Band Adaptability Tera Dark Roaring Moon Crunch vs. +2 248 HP / 252+ Def Cloyster with an ally's Aurora Veil: 158-188 (52.1 - 62%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    So that cloyster can take on even a hit from a +6 banded tera adaptability roaring moon.

    This thing is not THAT bad offensively, but it can wield massive support moves, such a priority stab with shard, spikes, tspikes, trapping with whirlpool, aqua ring, rest... I would argue that after removing any special attackers, this setup is just GG.

    AAA

    I built a team around belly drum Zangoose.

    I went through a lot of abilities then I just settled on sword of ruin.

    at+6:
    ice punch ohkos max def great tusk.
    power trip ohkos non fluffy corvi, pech.
    quick attack ohkos offensive zapdos, roaring moon.

    I went jolly just incase I need to out speed Great Tusk and Ghold without webs. Going adamant on the other hand can give you a very good chance to ohko offensive Zamazenta and scream tail.


    The team is built around trying to help Zangoose set up or help chip to put mons in range.
    -Webs: 90 base speed can outspeed a lot of things and I think Zangoose really needs it.

    -Regi screens: helps Zangoose to live hits and set up. And spins and explode to denie spins and defogs.

    -Azelf: This set is designed also to denie spins and defogs. Also has rocks to make some damage rolls in Zangoose’s favor.

    -Gholdengo: A spin blocker, and modest sheer force life orb ohkos physdef Corvi. There is a case for Timid to outspeed the 400+ speed mons, and chip corvi with other means. But I like the immediate power.

    -Roaring moon: I wanted a dark type and something that benefits from or helps with chipping Corvi and Tusk. Also with taunt to denie defogs. I settled on Mold Breaker with EQ because I’ve faced quite a few Earth Eater iron hands and Tinkaton, and people have gotten quite good at facing fluffy Moon. Fluffy Moon is also quite annoyed by fluffy mons and unaware mons. It’s also hard to drop taunt for roost since Zangoose really likes the webs.

    The star is great tusk, +1 edge ohkos zapados and outspeeds modest, OHKOS a lot of threats such as azelf, Roaring moon after spike (or it kills adamant)
    Pech is good at setting sun standard pech
    Harvest Iron hands lets you take a hit belly drum and end up at above 50% , if set up right can stay in and never lose health. can 1 v 1 10 flinches in a row vs Moltres G
    Flame pon grassy terrain to deal with threats
    Magic guard moltres to abuse sun with tailwind on predicted switches
    samu to get spikes and copycat prankster just to steal some kills if things get messy

    Hey Joey, I noticed you haven't made a video on Choice Banded Ogerpon-Teal. I started laddering on an alt with it a few days ago and peaked top 60 (1881 elo), figured you should give it a try. With the influx of Pecharunts running around right now and the never ending presence of Landorus-T, it's not difficult to get a defiant boost. Some interesting calcs are Choice Band Low Kick always OHKO's Kyurem and you can 2HKO Max HP Pecharunt after Stealth Rocks with Knock Off.

    Hi, I'm relatively new to Smogon but I built an Avalugg balance team for trademarked that I was able to make rank 8 on the ladder with. Its kinda anti-meta since Rocky Helmet Avalugg super beats Hone Claws Weavile and Gravity Landorus-T while water tera flips the matchup on Bulk up Cinderace and Shift Gear Revavroom. Boots aren't necessary thanks to defog corviknight and great tusk. Lets Go Table!!

    I try to get top 20~ every gen with sand as its my preferred team archetype. This gen has been rough with corv and no access to dracozolt. But I got pretty close and hit 1800s. Here's the team: https://pokepast.es/652d13ad17d07d07

    I thought about sending it after I heard you asking Blunder to bring Hippo to Tournies more. Through testing, Hippo is far superior to Ttar in Gen9 for sand setting.

    Its got some pretty underrated mons like Mandi (no sand damage and dark+ghost resist since no ttar) and scarf tbolt terra electric rotom. (extra corv+moltres assurance and a cool win condition). Plus, people have been comfortable not running ground types in Gen 9 so offensive volt switch has a 6-0 matchup occasionally. Additionally, tusk has to really fear hydro so even the most common ground type by a long shot is wary on coming in on offensive rotom. Both of these weirdly work incredibly well on sand lol.

    Corv is still the only thing that really messes with this team, and its just something I've learned to accept.

    Team is pretty hazard proof as pult and hippo are the only ones that truly get worn down by them, I got spin on exca as I didn't click rockslide or terrablast enough to justify anything but SD dual stab spin. Another option is to drop spin for high horsepower if rilla goes up in usage as mandi reliably defogs.

    Only weird thing is clef's moonlight+sand antisynergy, but in actual games, it's not much of an inconvenience at all. Hope you enjoy bro appreciate everything you do been a fan for almost 10 years.

    Hi joey, I've been a big fan for awhile, thought I'd send in my own fun metagame specific team.
    As I am unable to understand the complexities of OU, I have here, the most hyper offense shared power team in all of existence. That put me as 7'th in the ladder.

    I've nicknamed it QUABBS. Consisting Quaquaval, Urshifu-dark, Ariados, Baxcalibur, Basculegion, and Solgaleo.
    Yes Im surprised half of the team isnt banned in this metagame, and that they all have access to tera, but that is besides the point.
    The overall premise of the team is to sweep the opponent before they wear you out.

    The main lead is Ariados gifting it's sniper ability across all its fellow friends, ergo crits go brrrrrr. And webs, toxic spikes, and toxic can be spread across the opposing teams side. It can be surprising bulky sometimes, and it has achieved some funny sweeps through surprise sucker punches.
    Threats:
    - pretty much anything with an attacking stat
    - levitate mons invalidating all of it's hazards

    Next is Basculegion, adaptability is somehow legal in this format?? Whatever, strong stab goes insane on all the enemies. Not much more to it. Get in, flip turn out. And some decent aqua jets ko's every now and then.
    Threats:
    - Water absorb mons like ogerpon
    -Opposing dark and ghost types

    After that comes in a second water type, because type diversity is lame... jk, i just cant find a better moxie sweeper, that can also get rid of hazards.
    Threats:
    -It's not usually a sweeper so it does die fairly fast (Unlike every other mon listed so far lol)
    -Water absorb mons again

    Time for the fun players. Beginning with the mon that inspired the team, urshifu. If terror didn’t freeze you yet, continue on. Strong sniper adapt boosted wicked blows is all it wants in life, as such with protects being made useless only furthers the havoc that this mon causes. Also because most people don’t realize sniper is in play, they may assume your banded and you can then get off surprise sucker punches. If moxie boosted that can speel th end for most opponents.
    Threats:
    - It can take a hit most of the time, but it still is not your bulky mon don’t treat it as such.
    - Shell armor makes it just a strong attacker and not THE strong attacker
    -This will apply to all of them, but donzo can sneak up and prevent it from being able to properlly kill.

    Next is... Bax?!? I get it's strong but I completely underestimated it. The complete burn immunity is incredibly useful sometimes even necessary. The ice shard as excess priority is, you guessed it, useful! But glaive rush really rushes the opponents to an early grave.
    Threats:
    -I mean... it's sashed for a reason. It is the most glass I've seen a cannon be.

    Lastly, the legend of all legends, light of my life, oh gods its burning my eyes, MAKE IT STOP. The under rated Solgaleo. With his adapt psychic teeths chomping all threats. The sun steely striking its way through bs abilities like fluffy. (WHY IS FLUFFY ALLOWED?!?)
    Threats:
    -It's the sun.
    -Jk, it's so bulky that one agility is definitely enough to put it up to sweeping levels however if the last resort tera knock offs don't work, you are kinda screwed... but it should save you from most bad situations.

    Additionally, beware of those darn zamazentas and their dauntless sheilds and sticky hold berry teams. Aside from that. have fun sweeping!

    oh ye also im recovering quite well from my surgery although i did lose 15 lbs (my surgeon said a lot of people lose weight on a liquid diet so it is what it is) but all things considered i cant complain swelling is gone pain is mostly gone
    been getting into gen 4 OU thanks to some of your videos and I have been a huge fan of electivire my entire life, so i made a team trying my best to make him work! So far am top 150 on the ladder with it and I'm very curious to see how you would enjoy it

    (p.s. if you would like for this team, you can deinvest from the speed till he has about 264 in it so that with a scarf he can outrun jolly aero and such consistently. I have it at near max to make sure jolly gyrados's and dragonnite's can't catch my team lacking but most them adamant anyways lol.)
