  • Decidueye-Hisui @ Heavy-Duty Boots
    Ability: Scrappy
    Tera Type: Water
    EVs: 248 HP / 204 Def / 56 SpD
    Sassy Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Triple Arrows
    - U-turn
    - Roost
    - Defog

I don't have any team ideas but I think this guy has real value. He is a really consistent Defogger and actually switches into and beats Ting Lu, Treads, Lando T, Araq etc. unlike Weezing G. Tusk is a little dicey if it's max Atk. Ghold can't 2HKO him with any move either and he 2HKOes it back. He has slower Uturn vs Mola and Body Press Corvi. He also checks non Play Rough Oger and Samu H.

I feel like he can really work well on teams that really need hazards gone. Weezing G can't switch into Ground type Rockers so Decidueye has a big advantage over him. Also consistent Recovery and pivot opposition is good. Triple Arrows is busted as well, Def drop into Uturn into a Physical threat can put opponent in awkward position.
Hey, Joey! :D I wanted to share this Nat Dex heat I built with AoA Mega Glalie + Taunt Fire Spin Water Z Volcanion! It also features a heat chinese Clefable set with Covert Cloak to wall Mega Latios! :D Hope you give it a try! Brazil loves you! https://pokepast.es/8c965a682ec261aa
Yo guys you have gotta try out Scovillan Sun that I sent that man is too wavy. I have gotten way too much mileage off with him to not recommend it. That team does not even have the PZ team problem that happened.

Here's some calcs to show how nuclear this mon Scovillan is -

252 SpA Life Orb Tera Fire Scovillain Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult in Sun: 308-363 (97.1 - 114.5%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO

    +2 252 SpA Life Orb Scovillain Overheat vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Slowking-Galar in Sun: 497-585 (126.1 - 148.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO

    +2 252 SpA Life Orb Scovillain Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Iron Moth in Sun: 335-394 (111.2 - 130.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

    +2 252 SpA Life Orb Scovillain Overheat vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Moltres in Sun: 415-489 (108.3 - 127.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

    +2 252 SpA Life Orb Scovillain Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Raging Bolt in Sun: 400-472 (102.3 - 120.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Life Orb Tera Fire Scovillain Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Multiscale Dragonite in Sun: 122-143 (37.7 - 44.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

    252 SpA Life Orb Tera Fire Scovillain Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragonite in Sun: 243-286 (75.2 - 88.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Thats the thing that makes him good. He has too much immediate power and overwhelming setup option. One thing to note is that Tera Fire Flame + Overheat is stronger than +2 Non Tera Overheat so you can replicate all of above calcs even without setup. Tera Fire +2 Overheat Calcs are too insane but aren't even required but here's a funny one -

    +2 252 SpA Life Orb Tera Fire Scovillain Overheat vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Tera Water Ogerpon-Wellspring-Tera in Sun: 334-394 (110.9 - 130.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

These are all the mons in OU that you could have tried to check Scovillan with, it basically can overpower them all. We have good answer to all priority as Scovillan is made out of paper.

You get this guy in, click attacks and profit. I am surprised people call him so bad. FSG literally called him the worst fire type of Gen 9 and that might be true in a vaccum but he nit bad at all. He is too strong for that. And all this with Speed equal to Booster Val throughout the game.

    Jokler
    +2 252 SpA Life Orb Tera Fire Scovillain Overheat vs. 4 HP / 252+ SpD Blissey in Sun: 564-665 (86.5 - 101.9%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO

I was not aware of this calc myself but this is legitimate insanity. Blissey could be OHKOes is nuts even if the chance is so small.
    Joey :)

Here with a Hoopa team for AAA that i've been doing pretty good with, including crazy tech like Refridgerate adamant espeed deoxys-s, hadron engine av hoopa, scarf chiyu (not even that crazy), and lagging tail alolomola

    Super Giga Shiest Hoopa Team

Espeed has around 42% chance to ohko non defensive roaring moon from full, and deoxys can also survive a uturn from sword of ruin moon. Chiyu is a safe switch-in to gholdengo, pecharunt, and even the rare kingambit if your switching out hoopa, once those threats are gone hoopa can start doing whatever it wants, rarely taking more then 50% from any special attack, and doing huge damage with psychic. Focus blast could be switched for focus PUNCH to ohko moon on the switch if deoxys didnt already do that, as well as doing 75% to hoodra

there was supposed to be a waving emoji at the start now it looks weird
Yo, Joey! I just cooked up THE most INSANE Nat Dex OU Team showcasing SD Bug Z Lokix and Mixed AoA Mega Sceptile! +2 Z-FI Lokix straight up OHKOes Great Tusk after Knock Off chip and Lokix is just incredibly threating with boosted Knock Offs and Sucker Punches! Sceptile is also really cool to hit the whole tier for relevant chip (besides Ferro and Corviknight, for which we have Magnezone!). Here's the paste: https://pokepast.es/3719eda4768cdd56

I'd love to see you give it a try! Brazil loves you!! :)

Micheal Scovillan Sun. I think this mon is super underrated, how can this be ZU? His stats might be too low but a Fire type Chlorophyll guy is too strong regardless! I feel the issue people face with him is that either they run Specs and get walled by Garga, Mola, Gliscor, or they run Growth and get killed instantly with his low def.

I try to meet in the middle and run Life Orb Growth Overheat Tera Fire Scovillan. This way he can always have the right approach to take depending on the opps team!
    Hey Aim,

First of all glad your safe from your hospital visit and it wasn't anything too egregious, I wish you a swift recovery bc yeah that shit is ass. Anyway Im new to Smogon but been dabbling in competitive for about a year watching you and blunder + Jimothy, Freezerai and others. So I'm still climbing the ladder and it's annoying but it's fun too. I've been really liking Ursaluna as of late and trick room is cool and all but I've been experimenting with two sets: Specially Bulky Ursa and Grassy Terrain. The former is reminiscent of the set that got him banned from UU and inspired by Pinkacross as well. I added some grassy support with Rilla and with Ursa bulk it's kinda like Bad with it not caring about status and the Grassy terrain and the leftovers your gaining a lot of health back. Being able the stomach hits from Raging bolt, Waking Wake, Ghold and more with your special bulk. And Supporting you you have double ghost spin blockers w/ Pualt and Ghold (who also appreciates the grassy terrain) And with a G-Weeze for hazard control plus spreading burn
and a Assault Vest Zama Because with no SpD investment it reaches a respectable 400 SpD so eating hits from Val and Glowing if worst comes to worst. I've been laddering and I'm not skilled enough to see any major checks yet but you can give me feedback with that as well.

    Team:
    https://pokepast.es/574b4d85a13dfdb4

Okay, Now for the More Aggro Version:

This Team features the same Rilla and Ursa core but More offensive in nature, with Rilla being classic banded and Ursa with flame orb. The cool synergy is that grassy terrain cancels out flame orb burn and with one trailblaze your outrunning and threatening to O.K a lot of threats you would be in Trick room but now normally such as Ghold, Tusk(Non defensive), H-Sammurot, Kyurem, lando and literally anything below 327 speed. I opted for terra grass for that little extra breaking power when wanting another Trailblaze for Mola but tera normal is also standard for pure muscle. And something to also remember is your still an Ursa with excellent bulk. G-Weezing sees a return because he appreciates the ground dampening effect of grassy terrain and the extra passive recovery. More standard we have a Hawlucha as a wincon again plenty of encore-able threats, pretty stander Hawlucha things. AV Prima appreciates the Tspike absorption from G-Weeze but also the passive recovery with terrain and as with Zama a naturally high SpD meaning we don't need to invest to reach 400 meaning we have More breaking power with our moon blast and liquid voice Psychic noises. And our last slot is a Expert belt Darkrai used to pick things off and speed control, you could opt for boots but in my testing Rai has been falling short of K.Os so I opted for the belt bc the Ice Dark and Poison coverage is superb.

All in all this is my first write up on anything really Pokemon Related I've always been into games that allow you to optimize and competitive Pokemon is scratching that itch atm and I hope to get better and be more a part of the community. Thx for all u do and for u and blunder getting me into the community. ❤️
    Hey Joey,

I hope you feel better soon and we're all praying for a speedy recovery <3

I saw you've been playing old gens more so I wanted to pass you this banded Entei psyspam team that I peaked top 5 in SM OU ladder with.

    The team: https://pokepast.es/37fcdb8862336452

Everything that switches into banded Entei hates Medicham and vice versa. This team cleaves through every offense structure in the meta with those two alone, while specs Magearna destroys bulkier builds.

Defensive fly-Z :landorus-therian: gives you a better matchup vs Zard x, Gyara, bulky Volc, and Kart.
    - can change u-turn to knock off if preferred

Sp. def :rotom-wash: is the team's defogger and can twave gren, offensive volc, zam, zard y, tapu bulu, and magearna, while living serp leaf storm from full health.

:Entei: just spams fire move unless they have Heatran and has espeed to pick off frail mons.

Standard :Medicham: has no switch-ins that aren't named cresselia, mew, or reuniclus.

Choice specs :magearna: is excellent for denting steel types allowing Lele to clean up, mainly celesteela, ferro, heatran, and opposing mag
    - heart swap or calm mind are also great options and give the team a better matchup into fat builds

Scarf :tapu lele: with aromatherapy gives this team an offense killer and last resort cleric in one slot. aromatherapy gives the team a better matchup into t spikes
    - hp fire can be ran for a safer option into scizor and ohko on kartana

This team's goal is to maintain momentum by picking up early ko's with aggressive play and favorable positioning. thought you'd enjoy this over some of my bulkier builds and it'd make for better content.

    threats:
:volcarona: any offensive team naturally struggles with it
:charizard: y hurts more than x but both are threats
:cresselia: and :reuniclus: biggest threats to the team, throw the kitchen sink at them- t-wave, force recovers, prevent free switches
:alakazam: play terrain turns smart to allow medi and entei to revenge if needed- this goes for all frail threats

Ghost Serp Webs. I have been liking Ghost on Serp because it's great into either one of Corvi Or Slowking G. I was trying it out on a Para spam team but ended up liking it so much that made a real team with it. You are walled by Gambit but team has 4 guys that beat Gambit so it doesn't come up much.
    https://pokepast.es/fc1a4806ada1062a

Now, it's Kyurem's turn for DropaDraco. I ran Boots because with Blizzard and Tera Ice, you don't even need Specs and boots gives you so many opportunities to fire off attacks, not to mention his great bulk stays intact especially off the Snow boost. I run the Blim core but change up the sets to make it more active. Boots Zama is there for Future Signt abuse and Speed control.

To honor the quality of draco merch I would like present to you Dragalge in tier shift with draco capable of even taking down the strongest of ubers and demons in the tier with its now monstrous base 122 paired with adapt! (also slaking is on the team but its still a slaking xd)
    Wassup Aim,
You might remember me from making that trick room cb araquanid team you used in a vid. I got a couple unique teams that I'm using to ladder right now that you might find interesting (currently at 1920 so high ladder tested)
First one is a snow team that I think matches up great into the current state of OU and feels really strong into just about anything short of hard stall. The general game plan is to use belly drum cetitan and specs kyu to punch a big enough hole for zama to clean up. Here's the paste:
    https://pokepast.es/68ef39b163f4d0e8
And here's a replay or two
One of them is a cetitan sweep in the 1900s bc it matches up so well into common teams
    https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-2382954309-wnol14489xecy98350hgi4uyygve4o9pw
    https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-2382294938-wvhkyn4ng46srn7o2vjkq337fsgg2pspw

The other team I have is a really unique trick room team with diancie and arboliva as the main offensive engines. This team is a little more inconsistent, but I still have found high ladder success when using it alternating with the hail team. Here's the paste:
    https://pokepast.es/a082ba65eb9d077d
It's got a couple iffy matchups, like it is pretty kyurem weak but that's why bronzong is there. Matches up best into balance teams and can struggle with HO. Diancie though is a really potent sweeper somehow. Anyways here's a couple replays.
    Bronzong destroying stall:
    https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/...I_z1xIWj4dm4pn7g4G_aem_jxDIugutrhCzOSvDs_kghQ

And bronzong cleaning up under trick room even after I played horrible.

    https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-2382939314-p4wc8edlknud7a641l9lkyk1yiq7cuqpw

Anyways thanks for your time and hope these teams catch your eye !
    https://pokepast.es/cec0183305ed9207

Hydreigon this time for DropaDraco! I have been shilling this Eject Pack Rocks set since the BL Knights but you guys always end up using the Sub Nasty Plot. It's about time you try this. In this heavy BO metagame this much more proactive set definitely has merit.
Hey Aim! So Houndoom is my favorite mon and I figured it might have some trading potential in OU with Counter and Destiny Bond, and I ended up making this and won a decent amount in the mid 1700's reaching a high of 1780 beating a top 100 player.
    https://pokepast.es/96ede0a10f77b426
Essentialy Houndoom can take 1 or even 2 mons with him to open up endgames from Val or Zama, with Tusk spin support (team is pretty hazard weak) Oger as a breaker and Latios because idk.

    https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ou-2381969849-k8eqqhn3yqy1o4y65lnp82icnetleo4pw?p2

I'm generally really bad at building so being an average player i was really hap to win some games in the higher ladder with my fav mon.
    https://pokepast.es/e0978c4df1d4b53d

This time I got the Dracomenace himself, Salamence in celebration of Drop a Draco. Now, this guy is on nobody's radar but he ha some good things over Dnite. intimidate is really nice, esp into Oger. He outspeeds Tusk, Lando T etc.

I run a Draco EQ Fire Blast set. This set is only really walled by Clef. It punishes Slowking G structures because uninvested EQ does a clean 55%. Val and Enam are 2HKOed by Fire Blast. Even Mola and Glis are heavily pressured because Draco is too strong. I really like this set because it is surprisingly effective.
