been topping the gen 1 randbatts later the last few days, quite the accomplishment for me! ever since i was a child i always set out to prove my skills as a trainer and would frequently battle amongst my friends. 4 years ago i was introduced by a friend to showdown and i've been permanently hooked ever since, playing whatever tier hit my fancy at a given moment. it was in either late 2021 or early to mid 2022 where i got introduced to rby and fell in LOVE with it and dropped basically every other gen to focus exclusively on honing my skills in rby. i remember starting with using pokemon like dragonite as a mixed attacker and feeling the wrath of every ice type move in existence and then dropping it.

but eventually i tried gen 1 randbatts and really grew attached so i just hyperfocused into it and played it consistently near daily for a year or two, which has led me to be able to accomplish topping the ladder last week !!! the rby community is such a pleasure and i love being involved in it even if it's to a minor degree, y'all are awesome :].

TOP 32 IN THR RBY CUP!!! it was an uphill battle this time round but ultimately i succumbed to my opponent, a well respected and good rby trainer who's been kicking around for well over half a decade. guess my two years can't really add up to a third of my age, heheh . that doesn't mean i can't put up a hell of challenge though!!! once again, ggs to peasounay and everyone else i battled, plus the people who took in the tournament, and props to the folks behind the tourney for making this possible~. cheers everyone!!! i'll definitely show for another tournement in future and hopefully show off more of my skills and abilities as a trainer then!!!!
