    Hi! I've been wanting to host a tournament but I've been told I need to have a badge to be able to generate a bracket. However, iirc it's not necessary to do that. Can't I just create my own bracket without the Smogon tool? I could get a badged user to tag the tournament participants as well

    It's for VGC 2014 since VGC is getting its own old gen spotlight monthly ladder. I got approved by Zee which is in charge of VGC but they told me I might need a badge to generate a bracket (they're not sure tho)

    Sounds good; you could reach out to zee and see if they would be able to help you with hosting this, if they're happy to approve the tournament?

    You're right in that you do need to either be badged or to have previously helped host a tournament to generate a bracket on your own, but if, as you mentioned, a badged user / staff member is able to help set this up then that would be a good way to put this together. I'm sure zee or one of the other VGC Tournament staff would be happy to help if you ask about having them do this for you, while they'd also be the best port of call to ask for posting permissions!

    im really enjoyin your triple dragon team, however how does it deal with cm clef and other similar threats? There is no physical attacker able to force it down as it kills them easily

    I think the main issue is that the team has 3 Dragons and is really terrible into Fairy-types that Gking doesn't beat, a pretty fun way to answer things like this would be by teching Calm Mind and Psyshock instead of Toxic and Future Sight onto Slowking-G - you lose Future Sight pressure into opposing bulky teams while no Toxic makes Raging Bolt harder, but it's a really funny tech that 1v1s CM Clef and Volcarona

    If you want an actual improvement that helps a lot not only with CM Clef but in general, Skeledirge is probably your best bet and you can slot this over Hydrapple - this makes the team even more Ghost-weak than it already is, but having Unaware makes balance much more solid right now.
