Hi aim, here’s my favorite Monotype team I’ve laddered with in the past month or so that I figured you might want to use since it features a Flamigo.

Got past 1500s with it at some point (technically high ladder I think since there are a bunch of decayed alts there lol).

But anyway, this is a mono-Flying balance team. It’s got three choiced mons, the double scarf genies for some speed control and taking out fast mons that are threatening to Flying, and banded Flamigo to help deal with the annoying ass Steel matchup, particularly Ghold.

The other three mons are the glue to the team. Corv is classic defensive set and Zapdos is my patented SpDef Pressure variant. This combo plus protect from Gliscor lets you double pressure stall moves that are really annoying. Speaking of Gliscor, it’s Toxic Knock plus Rocks for that ultimate support, but I put the option on the paste for Spikes since whichever one is better is usually matchup dependent tbh. Spikes are generally better since it hits most types neutrally, and vs Fire cinderace court change doesn’t matter since you’re Spike immune. But if you run into another Flying team and you don’t have Rocks but they do you’re just fucked basically. So up to you which one you want.

Flying is really good imo since its weaknesses Rock, Ice, and Electric are all bad types in monotype so a lot of teams will depend on coverage Ice moves from mons like Meow, Gren, and Electric moves from mons like Flutter (and bolt-beam coverage from Latios and Porygon2, watch out for those threats) but otherwise this typing is really consistent vs most matchups. Hope you enjoy!

forgot to mention that Spikes are also good vs psychic and fairy cause of Hatt

This rain team is unique with its use of slither wing and utility umbrella. With this item slither can use morning sun and heal 50% in rain and won't take extra damage from water moves in rain, this mainly comes into play because it allows slither wing to avoid a 2hko from wellsprings ivy cudgel which, when paired with first impression, allows slither to be a decently reliable check to the mon. Outside of that, slither wing can check a good amount of mons that are problematic towards rain, rillaboom, teal pon, Dragonite (depending on the set ofc), darkrai, zamazenta, kingambit and more. It even helps a lot against an absurdly strong mon against rain, that being sub tect kyurem since you can slow pivot on it and break its substitute. On that topic, one of the key things that makes slither stand out compared to other defensive mons in rain teams is that it manages to be much less passive with its use of u turn to pivot into strong rain abusers, even being able to form a vortex with barraskewda at times. The ev spread on slither lines up PERFECTLY so that ivy cudgel from woger never 2hkos and that sub tect kyurem's freeze dry never 3hkos. Rain also helps slither get around one problem which is mons using tera fire to stop its will o wisp since they now become weaker to water type attacks from the rain team. It manages to give rain a good defensive back bone while not being super passive.

This is a trick room team built around clawitzer to take advantage of its good special attack and ability with mega launcher to make it into an extremely hard hitter under trick room using a choice specs set. With tera fighting aura sphere being able to 2shot max special defense :Blissey: and av :Kyurem: as well as dark pulse to one shot :Deoxys-Speed: as well as :Gholdengo: and water pulse for a strong stab option as well as dragon pulse to hit into :Raging Bolt: and :Walking Wake: , showing its elite coverage.

To make sure Trick Room goes up we have four offensive trick room mons that are meant to act both as support pokemon as well as having the potential to flip the match upside down themselves. These four pokemon are: tera fire life orb :hatterene: (to resist steel type moves and amplify mystical fire) , Power herb meteor beam diancie with tera grass (To resist :Ogerpon-wellspring:) , Power herb meteor beam :Necrozma: with tera rock to amplify meteor beam, and 221 speed (to outspeed timid :Kingambit: ) life orb mixed :hoopa-Unbound: with tera fighting (To resist sucker punch) . To round out the team we have a max attack rhyperior with the choice band for a powerful physical attacker with coverage for most if not all pokemon (with super cell slam, rock wrecker, ice punch and Earthquake).

Anyways I hope you enjoy the team!
Pokebilities AAA with the one and only Choice Band Protean Gumshoos. Under trick room it almost always hard switches into Corv, and if Corv is Well Baked Body, you just go fluffy Volcanion and blow it away with specs steam eruption. TTAR is probably the weakest link but he’s cool af so I kept him.

Also if the opponent has a Pech, hard switch into Reuniclus or Ttar (preferably Reuniclus so they hex or recover) and immediately switch into Gumshoos and just claim your free kill.

Joey, i made this screens team a while ago and i polished it a lot, now moltres is lighting rod double dance (+2 faster than boulder speed) and tusk is refrigerate atk booster so no ice spinner needed, colbur latios it's for sucker punches and knock off's which are frequently on latios defensive checks, scream tail became modest, because while the speed tier of timid is good, it lacks a bit of dmg, psychic over psynoise for soundproof mons (Kommo-o), could be psyshock for clods, but i noticed a lot of the mons u'd hit with psychic moves have higher fis def, Latios remained the same.
A minior also appeared on the team, but there's a problem, it's really inconsistent, but i liked it, good wogerpon check and gren with water absorb

also i didnt clarify smth on minior, but either it's in shields down form or it's mostly useless, unless it's vs an wogerpon, so maybe run sub/endure over eq, since most eq weak mons have earth eater. i had mold breaker over water absorb originally that's why it was eq.
The council is pretty smart, they coded dazzling and queenly majesty as the same ability so you cant have both sadly

Do you like the ability Guts? Do you like clicking Facade? Do you want to use a +2 attack +1 Speed Ursaring on switch in? I have the Pokeabilties AAA team for you!

Introducing Guts Spam Screens, overwhelm your opponent with THREE hard hitting attackers! Enjoy!

Been playing a little more PokeAAA and redrafted my ENTIRE sun team for the most part, switching from a more HO oriented build to BO!
(I'm NOT putting the Moth down.)

    https://pokepast.es/b600116b6c61bafd

RegenVest Slither Wing is a disgusting offensive pivot and has no reason to hit as hard as it does in sun with very little investment. Super fun to use alongside Iron Boulder/Moth that can cover some of it's stronger weaknesses (Earth Eater Pecharunt and Clodsire, Cinderace, Talonflame, Stamina Skarmory, Corviknight, IDef Zama) while forcing OUT some of their checks/counters with the threat of a revenge kill with Proto-boosted First Impression or CC (Deoxys-S, Hoodra, Scarf Samu/Gren/Meowscarada, Ogerpon, Crawdaunt, Lilligant-H). Rocky Helmet also works fairly well alongside Wisp/Morning Sun over EQ for a more physically defense set with better/more reliable longevity.

Paired with Drought Hydrapple, you have an unstoppable double regen core (that can't have it's Heat Rock removed due to Sticky Hold!) that can freely pivot into one another and sponge Knock Offs from Pokemon like Blissey, Great Tusk, Ogerpon, Reuniclus, and TTar.
LO + Sheer Force Iron Moth is a fantastic special wallbreaker with the potential to one tap common threats like Pecharunt or Zamazenta with sun-boosted Fire Blast that can be difficult for the team to deal with, and uses Discharge to to delete Skarmory or Corviknight no matter if they're running Volt Absorb or WBB.
Scarfed Mold Breaker Tusk offers some speed control that nobody expects and a counter to common defensive cores like Clod/Pech + Heatran even if one or more is running Earth Eater or Levitate while serving as our removal with Rapid Spin.
SpDef Desolate Land Moltres provides a phenomenal switch in to common Primordial Sea options like Greninja, Inteleon or Primarina or physical attackers like Cinderace, Slither Wing, Zamazenta, Teal Mask Ogre, Lilligant-H and non-Head Smash Great Tusk (none of which want to be burned) with Solar Beam to snipe the likes of Gastrodon, Swampert, Hippowdon and TTar on a switch, and finally
Banded Sharpness Iron Boulder is a nuke that presses Mighty Cleave against everything in front of it that's not a resist, and has Psycho Cut or Sacred Sword to blow up said common resists (Throat Chop is honestly for the aesthetic and never gets clicked. Ever.)

Give it a try, the Hydrapple does a LOT more work as a sunsetter/pivot than the Landorus in my original draft, just without the freedom to put up hazards.
This is fun linked team made through pain, would love to see you try it out, hoopa can be replaced with anyone who can learn CC and Lash out after, i was using zarude for that combo but the typing suffered on the team.

Would love to see any improvements!!

Thanks for showing me new meta's id never see!

also with tsareena i was using wide lens which is amazing but too many people run rocky helmet
I'll throw my hat into the ring and give some monotype teams, I'm #2 on ladder and a regular tournament player in the community. Blunder used my Dragon I hit rank 1 with a few months ago.

I hope you've been enjoying playing Monotype, let me know if you want any specific types / archetypes and I'll help you out for sure
    Unique Pokebilities AAA team
Eleki can't be priority taunted thanks to dazzling, latios' moveset is pretty crazy coverage in the current meta, u'll like it, maybe team is lokix/talonflame weak is my main concern, but to fix that i'd need another dazzling ability, which i cant give queenly majesty cuz they thought about it and coded them as the same ability, scream tail could be tankier but stored power is banned, so i got not much choice, preserve the eleki in those games, u'll need screens.
+2 latios faster than iron boulder and +2 moltres faster than eleki, im pretty sure tusk moveset could be improved or be made a suicide treads, it needs an ice move because lando/hydrapple are kinda annoying and booster speed is really nice, but i guess close combact is ok.
